Seabird Charters are Nelson's top boat and fishing charter business that have specialised in fishing, diving and sightseeing trips at the top of the South Island of New Zealand since 1999. We primarily operate around the Nelson and West Coast region including the Abel Tasman National Park, D'Urville Island and the Marlborough Sounds, and also provide commercial boating services.
Aboard the Seabird Charters boat you'll find a full galley, hot shower and toilet, and a large fishing and diving platform. We fully accommodate for up to 26 passengers on the large deck and in the comfortable and spacious interior.

Seabird Charters can accommodate 10 divers and 20 bottles per trip to stunning local destinations including Tasman Bay, D'Urville Island and the Abel Tasman National Park. Our charter boat also features a large fishing and diving platform.
Seabird Charters offer drop-off and pick-up services for mountain bikers between D'Urville Island, Nelson, and French Pass, with the option of staying overnight at the D'Urville Island Wilderness Lodge.
The Seabird Charters commercial work vessel is fitted with a hydraulic hauler and can carry a two ton payload. We are available for coastal surveying and as a convenient water taxi to the Abel Tasman National Park from Port Nelson.
